When developing the Home Technology Pros business model, we decided not to focus on the ultra-high-end homes with golf simulators and IMAX theaters. It’s incredibly fun technology to install, but in our opinion, there’s a far larger opportunity to be had: the everyday American.
Technology is no longer reserved for the ultra-wealthy. It’s in every home. Currently, the average household has at least seven connected devices, and that number is growing fast. By 2020, it is estimated there will be a shortage of over 2 million trained technicians available to meet the demand for home technology products and services. What an incredible opportunity for a home-based technology franchise!
